Today Sugar Cane is a renowned denim brand with a unique market position as one of the best denim manufacturers in Japan.
A work coat made from 10.5oz. sugarcane denim, woven with No. 9 warp and No. 11 weft threads. Based on early 20th-century work coats, it features change buttons on the front and a watch pocket attached diagonally on the left chest. The fabric selection for the collar and placket is unconventional compared to modern designs, making this a piece that promises to develop an appealing aged look as it fades.
