This season’s updated coverall jacket features refined pocket shapes and a softly rounded collar, giving it a cleaner silhouette while maintaining its timeless character. The fabric—originally developed over a century ago for outdoor use—uses a dual-layer construction: a cotton Russell-knit exterior paired with a wool-fleece interior similar to a heavyweight sweatshirt. With over 70% of the fabric made from deeply brushed wool fleece, it offers remarkable warmth and durability uncommon for knit-based materials.
The outer layer combines two differently colored yarns twisted together to create the signature “salt and pepper” texture associated with classic Brown’s Beach cloth. Although modernized for contemporary wear, the jacket retains a heritage feel that pairs effortlessly with a wide range of outfits. Designed in a popular three-pocket configuration, it’s finished with large 20mm engraved snap buttons and classic piping details.
