It’s time to add yet another legendary jacket to our selection from Aero.

The Type D-1 jacket was first issued in 1937 for USAAF ground crews working in brutal conditions.
Its lightweight sheepskin and clean design quickly made it a favorite among pilots, who often wore it in place of the bulkier B-3.

This reproduction is made in Scotland by Aero, faithfully following the original spec: off-white shearling, tough horsehide trim & WWII Talon zipper.

Built with the same durability as the originals, this D-1 will only get better with age.
