This Type II Model 1953, widely known as the 2nd type denim jacket was originally made in the transition period when denim jackets where changed from workwear to casual wear in US. A true masterpiece of the 1950's!

The jacket is crafted in a tough 13 oz white Japanese denim with red selvedge signature.
Sugar Cane introduces a new "summer take" of their signature denim, using a white yarn for the warp and natural color yarn for the weft. 

Their new fabric is 1,25 oz lighter than their signature 14,25 oz fabric without compromising strength and durability.

The jacket features double chest patch pockets, contrast stitches and logo buttons.
