The Leather – Nitta Horsehide (Teacore)
The Frisco is crafted from premium black teacore Nitta horsehide, a Japanese leather known for its density, strength, and dramatic aging potential.
Horsehide’s tight fiber structure provides durability and a firm, structured hand. Initially robust, it gradually molds to the body with wear. The teacore finish means the leather is dyed black on the surface with a rich brown core underneath.
