Crafted from dense, high-quality Nitta horsehide, the Free Riders Vest offers the same durability and aging potential that defines Double Helix Works’ jackets.
Horsehide is known for its tight fiber structure, giving it strength, abrasion resistance, and a firm hand at the beginning. With time, the leather softens and conforms to the body, developing natural creases and high-contrast wear patterns.
If produced in teacore, the surface gradually reveals warmer brown undertones beneath the black top layer, creating a distinctive, lived-in patina unique to the wearer.
