Aero Leather Clothing, Modified Hooch Hauler, Black Badalassi

We're really proud of bringing in the legendary brand AERO Leather Clothing to Wardrobe 19 as the only retailer in Denmark.

The Hooch Haulers were the daredevil drivers of Prohibition, running illegal whiskey in Whiskey Six getaway cars—powerful Buicks and Studebakers fitted with Cadillac ambulance engines. Tearing through Appalachia’s backroads, these early hot rodders pushed their machines to the limit, often wrecking in high-speed chases.

To honor these legends, Aero created the Hooch Hauler jacket. Inspired by early 1930s leather jackets, it features a slim, tailored cut, a unique period-style back, and a raised armhole with narrower sleeves, reflecting the sleek, functional designs of the first zip-up leather jackets.

This is a custom edition we made with Aero.

it features a shortened length and a buttoned closure instead of the classic zipper closure.

It's crafted from luxurious Badalassi Steerhide known from its unique sheen and rich grain and texture.

We've chosen a brown contrast stitching to make the details pop, brass diamond puller and brown horn buttons.

The buttoned Hooch Hauler comes with premium Lochcarron Scottish wool lining from 1892 and moleskin pocket lining.
