This shirt is based on a 1940's style work shirt.
It is crafted in high quality 8oz. indigo striped fabric woven on shuttle looms, sampled from narrow width antique fabric intended for traditional Japanese clothing.

At first glance he fabric seams to be a classic indigo & cream stripe, but if you look closer small imperfections with white specks appear on the indigo base.

These small white specks utilize yarn dying in 2 colors using techniques like tying, and achieving this fine pitch dyeing on a few-centimeter scale is extremely challenging in modern times.

This shirt is true-to-size.
