We're excited to bring Japanese brand Prequel to Wardrobe 19!

We found this brand a year ago during a tradeshow in Berlin.
We came across some of the most incredible shirt fabrics we’ve ever handled and without a doubt we decided to bring them to Copenhagen.

Of course, Prequel comes out of Japan🇯🇵
The shirt specialists base their incredible fabrics on a sacret and precious fabric sample book by Claude Fréres (J. & Co. ,Paris) from 1907.

Prequel brings new life to these vintage fabrics by studying the analyzing the patterns with microscopic attention to detail.

This fabric is woven with 30-count yarn in the warp, raw and indigo dyed, and 10-count weft yarn in a delicate and beautiful stripe pattern. The combination of indigo yarns gives the material unique characteristics and allows it to change over time. This material goes very well with classically designed shirts, creating a sophisticated item.
