We proudly welcome Japanese denim specialists Sugar Cane to Wardrobe 19 as the only retailer in Denmark!
Sugar Cane is a Japanese clothing brand who honors the history of workwear by reconstructing and reproducing iconic workwear pieces down to the smallest detail with pure Japanese quality and finesse.
Today Sugar Cane is a renowned denim brand with a unique market position as one of the best denim manufacturers in Japan.
This Work Coat is inspired by workers jackets from the 1920's.
A more roomy silhouette than the classic 1950's style denim jackets in the Sugar Cane catalogue.
This edition is inspired by "painted-by-previous-owner" styles found in the vintage archives of Sugar Cane.
The inspiration of the cartoons illustrated on the work coat is a comic published in the Frisco Railway Employee magazine from june 1925 issue.
The Work Coat is made with open collar detail, large twin patch pockets and simple one button design on the cuffs.
The main parts are solidly constructed with three-needle chainstitching and the jacket features changeable buttons.
The fabric is a beautiful natural color 9oz Boat Sail Drill fabric with small imperfections and dark spots from the raw cotton!
